Amy Bradley's brother is posting theories on X following the release of a Netflix doc about his sister's disappearance.
Amy Bradley's brother, Brad, has recently shed new light on the mysterious disappearance of his sister from a cruise ship in March 1998. Brad refutes prevailing theories, including the possibility of Amy falling overboard, citing her physical capabilities and minimal alcohol consumption on the night she vanished. According to Brad, Amy was not forced to join the trip by their father, as some narratives suggest; both siblings were reportedly excited for the cruise. A pivotal detail shared by Brad concerns two unidentified women in matching uniforms who engaged Amy in conversation for over an hour the night before her disappearance. These uniforms, he noted, were not standard Royal Caribbean attire. Following Amy's disappearance, on the night of March 24, 1998, while the family was in a hotel room in Curacao, two individuals identifying themselves as officers from the Scientology ship Freewinds knocked on their door. The Freewinds, headquartered in Curacao, was docked adjacent to their cruise ship. Brad claims these officers inquired about Amy's personal preferences, such as her favorite cigarettes, beer, and snacks, under the guise of assisting those in grief. The family declined an invitation to board the Freewinds. Upon returning home to Virginia, Brad's research revealed that the uniforms worn by the two women Amy spoke to matched those of some Freewinds staff. He believes these women were Sea Org recruiters who coerced Amy into a tour of the Freewinds, from which she was unable to return. Amy was reportedly sighted in various locations, including a shopping center bathroom in Bridgetown, Barbados, and at Pier 39 in San Francisco, near a Church of Scientology. Brad expresses frustration that despite these details and his long-standing theory, news organizations and the FBI have not given it sufficient attention.
