Drivers Urged to Install More Traffic Lights on Câmpulung-Brașov Road Amidst Construction Concerns
A concerned driver, Lucian Popa, has highlighted significant issues on the road connecting Câmpulung and Brașov, where extensive construction is currently underway. In a recent video, Mr. Popa stated that he encountered at least 15 temporary traffic lights along the route. His primary concern revolves around certain asphalted sections of the road where, despite ongoing works, vehicles are able to reach speeds of 70-80 kilometers per hour. Mr. Popa emphasized the potential danger this poses, urging authorities to install additional traffic lights in these areas. He stressed the importance of maintaining the regulated speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour to ensure the safety of all motorists navigating the construction zone. 'It worries me a lot that on certain road sections, where the road is asphalted and where traffic moves very fast, we reach speeds of 70-80 km/h,' Popa stated. 'I ask you to install more traffic lights from place to place, also in these areas, so that the speed is not exceeded and, first of all, to maintain the regulated speed of 30 km/h, which is the average speed with which I leave Câmpulung to reach Brașov.'
