Crypto Analyst Predicts Altcoin Season Amid Soaring Sub-Dollar Volumes and Inflation Concerns
Vienna, Austria – A recent analysis by cryptocurrency content creator Lukas Fuhrmann highlights a significant surge in 'Sub-Dollar Volumes' within the crypto market, indicating a potential shift towards an 'Altcoin Season'. According to Fuhrmann, these volumes, representing a substantial portion of total market activity, have climbed consistently since 2021, reaching an all-time high of 47.4% on June 12th. Fuhrmann attributes this trend to current economic conditions, specifically high inflation and a resulting loss of purchasing power. He suggests that individuals are increasingly seeking higher-risk, higher-reward investments, such as altcoins and penny stocks, as traditional assets or even major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin may no longer suffice for wealth growth. "People have simply understood that normal stocks and Bitcoin are no longer enough," Fuhrmann stated, emphasizing a growing readiness among investors to 'gamble' on more volatile assets. This increased appetite for risk, he argues, is a direct consequence of the need to counteract inflationary pressures, making an altcoin season a guaranteed outcome.
