Minsk, Belarus – The city of Minsk has officially opened its new "Sad Vershau" (Poetry Garden), transforming a previously overgrown area into a vibrant public space. The newly developed park, located near the Mikhalovo metro station with an entrance from L. Sapegi Street, promises to be a new attraction for both residents and visitors. The park's main entrance features an artistic display spelling out "Sad Vershau" with large stone letters, alongside a detailed map guiding visitors through its various zones. A key highlight of the renovation is the main alley, which now serves as a tribute to Belarusian literature. It is lined with informative stands showcasing portraits, biographies, and poems of notable Belarusian writers, offering a cultural and educational experience for those strolling through. Further into the park, a newly constructed playground area provides a modern and engaging space for children. Despite the extensive renovations, the park has retained some of its natural, untouched green zones, offering a blend of cultivated beauty and serene nature. The "Sad Vershau" is envisioned as a versatile space, ideal for leisurely walks, family outings, and even professional photoshoots, marking a significant addition to Minsk's urban landscape.
