PETALING JAYA - Seorang 'rider' (penghantar barangan) Grab mengeluh apabila terpaksa meredah 'hutan' semata-mata untuk menghantar pesanan pelanggan.
KUALA LUMPUR – A Malaysian delivery rider's recent video has gone viral, showcasing the extreme lengths some delivery personnel must go to fulfill orders. The video, uploaded by user "madie_sun69," captures a first-person view from a motorcycle as the rider navigates a narrow, overgrown dirt path seemingly in the middle of a dense, grassy area. The rider, audibly frustrated, can be heard exclaiming in Malay, "Ko pindah la rmh lain sial" (You should move to another house, damn it), and questioning the feasibility of delivering to such a remote and challenging location. The path, barely wide enough for a motorcycle, is surrounded by tall, thick grass and appears to be a makeshift trail rather than a proper road. The video highlights the often-unseen difficulties faced by gig economy workers, who frequently encounter unexpected obstacles in their daily pursuit of income. The rider’s exasperation resonated with many online, drawing attention to the demanding nature of delivery jobs, especially when customers are located in highly inaccessible areas.
