Budapest, Hungary – The Hungarian National Museum recently shared a captivating video showcasing three silver trays, two from the world-renowned Seuso Treasure and one from a different collection. The video, which has already garnered significant online attention, focuses on the artistry and historical significance of these remarkable pieces. The Akhilleusz-tál, or Achilles tray, a centerpiece of the Seuso Treasure, is highlighted for its impressive size (70 cm in diameter) and its detailed depiction of the Greek hero's life. In contrast, a simpler Geometric tray from the same treasure is also shown, representing a different style of Roman silverwork. A third tray, discovered in the Sava River bed, is presented to emphasize the uniqueness and importance of the Seuso Treasure. 'The Seuso Treasure is a highlight of our permanent exhibition,' said a representative from the Hungarian National Museum. 'We hope this video will inspire more people to visit and explore this incredible collection.'
