Body of Missing Restaurant Worker Found in Kuantan
The body of Wan Izani Wan Mohd Samsudin, a restaurant worker reported missing last Wednesday, was found this Friday morning at 10:30 AM in the Pasir Puteri recreational area, Sungai Lembing, Kuantan. The discovery was made by villagers approximately 12 kilometers from where he was last seen. According to Abdul Rahim Baharum, the head of the Indera Mahkota Fire and Rescue Station, the search operation, which began at 8:30 AM, involved ten personnel from the Kuantan Fire and Rescue Station, the Malaysian Civil Defence Force, the Royal Malaysian Police, the Amal Unit, and local villagers. The search was challenging due to the strong currents and unpredictable weather. This tragic event highlights the importance of water safety and community collaboration in search and rescue efforts.
