Fire Engulfs Meeting Room at Tampin Police Headquarters A fire broke out on the evening of May 22, 2025, at the Tampin District Police Headquarters in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The blaze, which started around 7:15 PM, completely destroyed a meeting room located on the fourth floor of the building housing the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division. According to Superintendent Amiruddin Sariman, the Tampin District Police Chief, "The fire was noticed by officers on duty in a nearby office before they contacted the fire department." Firefighters arrived swiftly and brought the fire under control by 8:10 PM. While the damage is estimated to be 100%, thankfully, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
