Miraculous Escape: Man Survives Car Fire on Busy Kedah Road

A 37-year-old man had a miraculous escape from a burning car last night on Jalan Tawar-Kulim in Baling, Kedah. The man, who was traveling to Batu Ferringhi in Penang, noticed smoke coming from the front of his sports utility vehicle and managed to escape just before it burst into flames. "The man was extremely lucky to escape unharmed," said Zul Khairi Mat Tanjil, the Assistant Fire Chief of Baling. Firefighters arrived quickly and extinguished the fire, but the vehicle was completely destroyed. The incident caused a temporary traffic disruption on the busy road. The quick actions of the driver and the prompt response of the fire department prevented a potential tragedy.
