Drug Dealer Dies in Melaka Accident While Transporting Hundreds of Drug Packets A 22-year-old man died in a traffic accident in Melaka, Malaysia, on May 29, 2025, while allegedly transporting a significant amount of illegal drugs. According to Melaka Police Chief Datuk Zuhaili Mokhtar, "The man, a local resident with no prior criminal record, was riding his motorcycle when he rear-ended a car, causing him to lose control and collide with a lorry." Police found 450 packets containing 688.81 grams of heroin and 12 packets of methamphetamine weighing 13.41 grams at the scene. The man's body was sent to Melaka Hospital for a post-mortem. The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and Section 41(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1987.
