A bus crash occurred on the Gerik–Jeli highway near Gerik, Perak, Malaysia, on June 9, 2025. "The bus was speeding," she stated, "I smelled burning rubber in Tanah Merah and then felt the bus hit a pothole in Jeli just before the accident."
