Local Woman's Tree Watering Sparks City Action in Spain
A local resident in Spain recently shared her experience regarding public tree maintenance, sparking a conversation about civic engagement and municipal responsiveness. The woman, known online as 'Mami de tres,' recounted being reprimanded by a police officer for independently watering a young tree on public property. However, in a positive turn of events, she later observed city workers actively watering all the trees in the vicinity, including the one she had been tending. In her video, the woman expressed satisfaction, stating, "My baby tree is still alive! The other day I was told off for watering a public tree... and today they finally came to water them." She further noted that the police officer's intervention, though initially a reprimand, seemingly led to official action. "The police officer paid attention yesterday. Look, all of them are watered," she added, highlighting the collective effort. This incident underscores the importance of public green spaces and the interplay between citizen initiatives and local government services.
