An estate in the Berkshires is celebrating the season with thousands of Halloween and autumnal decorations and displays.
STOCKBRIDGE, MA – The historic Naumkeag estate in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, has once again transformed into a spectacular autumnal wonderland for its annual Pumpkin Show, drawing visitors from across the region. The event, which runs throughout October, features an elaborate display of thousands of intricately carved jack-o'-lanterns, vibrant mums, and a variety of pumpkins arranged in imaginative scenes. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a grand "PUMPKIN SHOW" sign, surrounded by a festive array of gourds. The grounds are meticulously decorated, showcasing pumpkins carved with diverse patterns, from celestial stars and zodiac signs to intricate bird and animal motifs. One particularly striking installation includes a "Naumkeag Pumpkin Farm" complete with large pumpkins featuring carved images of pigs and corn stalks, alongside a dramatic, smoking pumpkin volcano that adds a touch of theatrical flair. A highlight for many is the enchanting corn stalk tunnel, adorned with countless small lights, creating an immersive pathway. As evening approaches, the true magic of the display unfolds, with all the pumpkins and decorative lights illuminating the estate.
