Parasailer Rescued After Unexpected Palm Tree Landing in Nayarit

A parasailing excursion in Nayarit took an unexpected turn when a tourist became entangled in a palm tree. Guillermo Lozano, a 27-year-old from Monterrey, found himself suspended approximately eight meters high after his parasail reportedly failed due to strong winds. The incident occurred in the Bahía de Banderas area, near the Quinta del Mar condominium and Hotel Riu Mar. Emergency services, including firefighters and civil protection personnel, swiftly responded to the scene. They successfully rescued Mr. Lozano, carefully lowering him from the palm tree using ropes. Fortunately, he sustained only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization following the dramatic rescue.
