Tom Holland Dives into Ice Bath, Reveals Fitness Secrets and Training Preferences
Tom Holland took the plunge into an ice bath at the Bero Padel Classic as part of Men's Health UK's 'Icebreakers' series, offering his candid thoughts on various fitness trends. The actor, known for his role as Spider-Man, braved the freezing temperatures while participating in a 'smash or pass' segment. Holland shared his preferences on several health and fitness practices. When asked about walking 10,000 steps a day, he responded, "I play a lot of golf, so I'd probably smash that, I reckon." He expressed enthusiasm for playing padel, stating, "Love playing padel." However, burpees received a more conflicted response: "I hate burpees, but I do them." He clarified that he incorporates them into his routine approximately once a week. Discussing bodyweight training, Holland revealed, "I love bodyweight training. I've actually using a weighted vest a lot at the minute... it just makes it that extra bit tougher." He also expressed a strong preference for saunas, noting, "I love a sauna. I will be jumping in there as soon as this is over." Regarding cold showers versus cold baths, he preferred the latter. Finally, when asked about squats, he affirmed, "I love squatting. You can't grow if you don't do your legs." He concluded by thanking Men's Health UK for their support.
