Una enfermera critica la temporalidad y le responden: "Ahí están las OPE"
María, enfermera, ha criticado duramente la falta de estabilidad laboral en su sector si no tienes plaza fija
Madrid, Spain – A healthcare professional has voiced strong concerns over the deteriorating working conditions faced by medical staff in Spain, highlighting the pervasive issue of precarious contracts and the resulting burnout. In a recent video, María, a matron and lactation consultant, described the constant instability caused by short-term employment agreements. "It has come to this moment, where I, like every healthcare professional, have to face these shitty contracts," María stated, expressing her deep frustration. She explained that professionals are frequently moved between different services and locations, often without knowing the duration of their assignments. "You learn everything about one service, you adapt, and the next month, or any other day, they tell you 'goodbye', and you have to start over somewhere else," she recounted. María emphasized the significant physical and mental toll this instability takes on healthcare workers. "This is a mental and physical exhaustion, a saturation. How are we not going to have burnout, ladies and gentlemen?" she questioned, pointing out the irony that these are the same professionals who were widely applauded during the COVID-19 pandemic. She concluded by stating that this reality reflects how the system treats its healthcare providers, despite their vital role.
