Budapest, Hungary – The Hungarian capital has become the host city for Europe's largest Lego exhibition, drawing crowds with its impressive scale and intricate designs. The exhibition, located at the Lurdy House, showcases over 100 unique models crafted from more than five million Lego bricks. Among the highlights are two monumental creations, each built from over half a million Lego pieces. One is a remarkable 7-meter long ocean liner, meticulously detailed and even equipped with a functional horn, offering a realistic maritime experience. The other is a life-sized, interactive rally car, providing visitors with a hands-on experience. Building these colossal models was a significant undertaking, with each requiring over six months of dedicated work by teams of five to ten skilled builders. Beyond static displays, the exhibition offers an interactive zone where visitors can unleash their creativity with two million loose Lego bricks, fostering an engaging and playful environment. This exhibition not only celebrates the artistry and engineering possible with Lego but also provides an entertaining and educational experience for families and enthusiasts alike, solidifying Budapest's position as a hub for unique cultural events.
