MUFACE Launches 400 Euro Annual Aid for Celiac Beneficiaries in Spain
Madrid, Spain – The Mutualidad General de Funcionarios Civiles del Estado (MUFACE) has announced a new annual economic aid program, offering 400 euros to mutualists and beneficiaries diagnosed with celiac disease. This initiative aims to alleviate the additional financial burden associated with maintaining a strict gluten-free diet. According to an official announcement, individuals who are mutualists or beneficiaries of MUFACE and possess a certified medical diagnosis of celiac disease are eligible to apply for this assistance. The aid is specifically designated to offset the increased costs of gluten-free food products, which are often significantly more expensive than their gluten-containing counterparts. Applications for the aid are currently open and will be accepted until December 31, 2025. Applicants have the option to submit their requests either online through MUFACE's electronic headquarters, requiring a digital certificate, electronic DNI, or Cl@ve system, or in person at MUFACE offices. For in-person applications, it is advised to schedule an appointment in advance due to anticipated high demand. This support is exclusively for expenses directly related to adhering to a gluten-free diet.
