During a recent concert, Colombian superstar Maluma paused his performance to address a concerning situation in the audience. The artist noticed a woman holding a baby, estimated to be around one and a half years old, amidst the loud music and enthusiastic crowd. Maluma, speaking directly to the parent from the stage, expressed his strong disapproval. "With all due respect," he began, "there's a baby here. How old is it? One year? One and a half?" Upon confirming the child's age, he continued, "Do you think it's a good idea to bring a one-year-old baby to a concert where the decibels are through the roof, where the sound is extremely loud?" The artist emphasized the potential harm to the child, stating, "This is an act of irresponsibility. You're moving the baby around as if it were a toy. That child doesn't want to be here, truly." He added, "I say this with all affection and respect, and now that I'm a father, I would never have brought my child, at one year old, to a concert." Maluma concluded by urging the parent to "be a little more conscious" for the future. His remarks were met with a resounding ovation from the audience, who largely supported his stance on child safety at such events.
