Belgrade, September 30, 2025 – Emerging singer Minja Stanković has publicly shared a highly critical account of her recent experience with popular makeup artist Stefan Subotić, alleging unprofessional conduct and unsatisfactory results for a significant fee. Stanković, who was preparing for her debut performance in the "Zvezde Granda" competition, claims to have paid 250 euros for Subotić's services.According to Stanković, the ordeal began with a rescheduled appointment and incorrect location details, causing her considerable stress and delay. Upon arrival, she provided specific instructions for her desired makeup look, which she states were not met. Her mother, who was present and reportedly has a background in makeup artistry, observed that Stanković's eyes were unevenly made up.In a series of direct messages shared by Stanković, she confronted Subotić about the issues, including noticeable smudges and a lack of setting powder. Subotić's response, as shown in the messages, attributed the oversight to Stanković's mother's presence, stating, "my focus was lost and I didn't put on fixer. Fixer is what holds the makeup. Your mother is wonderful and it's nice that she cares and helps you, but to me it's..." He further suggested that if his assistant had been present, she would have been "more direct."Stanković vehemently denied her mother's interference, asserting that her mother politely inquired if she could sit in the studio and did not comment on the makeup until the unevenness was apparent. She expressed her disappointment, emphasizing that for the price paid, a professional standard was expected. Following their exchange, Stanković revealed that Subotić blocked her.
