Alejandro Sanz Named in Alleged Grooming Account by Former Fan Ivet Playà | BEL…
She makes clear that she does not hold Alejandro Sanz responsible for any unlawful act. Yet her words carry the weight.
Madrid, Spain A young woman identified as Ivet Playà has publicly accused renowned Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz of exploitation, claiming he used her in an intimate relationship that left her feeling "humiliated and dirty." Playà, who was a fan of Sanz, shared her story in a recent video, detailing the progression of their relationship from online interactions to a personal and sexual connection. According to Playà, her interactions with Sanz began in 2015 when she was 18 years old and he was 49. She stated that Sanz followed her on social media, sent her private messages, commented on her photos, and even shared her content on his own platforms. This online connection eventually led to their first private meeting. Playà recounted a significant life change she made for Sanz: "With 22 years old, I left my home in Barcelona to move to Madrid alone, because Alejandro Sanz hired me to work for him." However, she alleges that during this period, "my personal bond with Alejandro Sanz became irremediable and turned intimate and sexual." Expressing profound distress, Playà stated, "I feel deceived. I feel used. I feel humiliated. I even feel dirty because I don't know who could have seen what I sent him in my absolute and complete intimacy." She further emphasized the emotional toll, saying, "I don't have words to express what I have felt." Playà referenced a recent interview given by Alejandro Sanz in March, where he reportedly stated, "I carry people ahead of me, and sometimes I do things and carry people ahead of me, and sometimes it's dangerous." Playà interpreted this as an acknowledgment from Sanz himself, asserting, "He himself recognizes it. I think he lives in a parallel reality that he has been building for many, many years, and I think he feels he is above good and evil. That is tremendously dangerous, because I think deep down he is." Concluding her statement, Playà declared her resolve: "I am no longer that girl who was willing to do anything to be closer to him. Today's Ivet knows what a healthy, proportional, and reciprocal bond is, and recognizes when someone does things with their heart and when someone feels so empty inside that they only feel good by using the hearts of others." She added, "He was wrong with me. He was wrong with me until the end." Alejandro Sanz's representatives have not yet issued a public statement regarding these accusations.
