Young Minds, Big Robots: KazRobo-2025 Competition Highlights Innovation

Young Innovators Shine at KazRobo-2025 Robotics Competition A regional robotics competition, KazRobo-2025, recently took place in [Location Name], showcasing the talents of young inventors. The event featured two exciting categories: Robotrace, a test of speed and programming precision, and Robo-sumo, a battle of robotic strength and strategy. One participant, Temirzhan Yelken, an eighth-grader from the "Bilim-Innovaciya" Lyceum-Internat, described his robot's design: "To make the robot move, we used an automatic sensor. It detects the black line and follows it." Another competitor, Sai Erkanat, highlighted the strength and stability of her creation for the Robo-sumo event. "I'm confident in my robot's strength; its base is very sturdy," she said. The competition attracted 23 teams, with a total of 46 young participants. The event underscored the growing interest in STEM education and the impressive skills of Kazakhstan's young generation. The competition organizers plan to implement a registration system to protect intellectual property rights.
