Kazakh Schoolchildren Get Summer Safety Tips
Schoolchildren in Kazakhstan Receive Summer Safety Briefing In a proactive effort to ensure child safety during the upcoming summer holidays, emergency services and law enforcement officials in Kazakhstan conducted a safety briefing for schoolchildren. The event, held at School No. 23, focused on educating students about road safety rules and the legal consequences of breaking the law. "We discussed road safety rules and the legal responsibilities children have," explained Gaunar Ramazanova, an inspector with the regional police department. "We also emphasized the serious consequences of any criminal or administrative offenses." The briefing included presentations and interactive sessions. The school principal, Nurkhamal Kozhinа, stressed the importance of ongoing safety education. "We regularly hold safety meetings with students and teachers," she said. "We also organize various excursions to familiarize children with the work of emergency services." Law enforcement officials highlighted the positive impact of these briefings, noting a significant decrease in juvenile crime in the past year. This initiative demonstrates a commitment to ensuring children's safety and well-being during the summer months.
