North Kazakhstan Akim Celebrates Student Successes at Regional Olympiads and Contests Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan – May 28, 2025 – Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, Gauyez Nurmukhambetov, recently hosted a meeting with 30 students who excelled in republican contests and school olympiads. One student, Rinat Khaibullin, a tenth-grader from BGST Gymnasium, shared his experience winning first place in the republican stage of the English language olympiad. "Today is a very significant day for me," he stated, emphasizing the importance of English language skills for his future career as a programmer. Another participant, Gaukhar Musina, from Shal Akyn region, won first place in the regional Kazakh language and literature olympiad. "My goal is to elevate the status of the Kazakh language in our region and worldwide," she said, highlighting the importance of her achievement. The Akim praised the students' dedication and the systemic work of their teachers, noting that the region consistently ranks among the top three in the republic for student achievements in such competitions.
