
Patriotism and Fun: Kazakhstan Celebrates National Symbols Day
Petropavl, Kazakhstan – June 3, 2025. A vibrant celebration of National Symbols Day unfolded today in Petropavl, Kazakhstan, outside the regional House of Friendship. Organized by the Center for Public Development and Information, the event engaged both children and adults in interactive activities designed to promote patriotism and knowledge of national symbols. Children enthusiastically participated in a drawing contest, expressing their love for their country through artwork. "The main goal wasn't just to hold an interactive event, but to create an atmosphere of respect, interest, and pride in one's country," explained Daryana Baymukanova, chair of the Shtab JE SKO organization. Adults tested their knowledge with a themed quiz, and all participants received chocolate bars featuring Kazakhstani symbols. The event successfully combined fun and education, leaving a lasting impression on participants and reinforcing the importance of national identity.
