Kazakh Students Celebrate World Environment Day with Eco-Friendly Actions

Students in North Kazakhstan celebrated World Environment Day with a series of eco-friendly activities at M. Kozybaev North Kazakhstan State University on June 5th, 2025. The event, organized by the university's Geography and Ecology department, involved creating a large chalk drawing of a tree on the campus grounds and collecting plastic waste for recycling. One student, Akmaral Sarsenbekova, commented on the significance of the initiative, stating, “I fully support this event because everyone should start with personal cleanliness and responsibility.
