Nutritionist Accuses Doctor of Attempted Femicide, Children Missing
Puebla, Mexico - September Vélez, a nutritionist, has publicly accused her ex-partner, gastroenterologist Armando 'N', of attempted femicide. Vélez shared security footage on social media appearing to depict an assault. "I'm raising my voice because I'm alive, but I could have been killed," Vélez stated in the video. The footage shows a physical altercation. Armando 'N' subsequently took their two minor children, despite a court order granting Vélez custody. This prompted Vélez to make the video, expressing fear for her children's safety. Puebla's Secretary of Government confirmed that the Attorney General's office is investigating the incident and that Armando 'N' has been suspended from his position at Hospital Angeles Puebla. The case highlights the ongoing issue of domestic violence and femicide in Mexico.
