Local Mushroom Hunter Scores Big Despite Wormy Finds in Brest Region

A bountiful, if slightly buggy, mushroom harvest was reported near Jabinka, Brest region, Belarus on June 4th, 2025. Local mushroom hunter Nadezhda Khilchuk shared a video showcasing her collection of various mushrooms, including a large amount of yellow-sulfur and butter varieties. While many mushrooms showed signs of insect damage, Khilchuk still managed to collect a substantial amount, demonstrating the richness of the local forests. "Despite many being wormy," Khilchuk stated in her video, "there's still a good amount to take home."
