BARANOVICHI, Belarus – A heavy downpour in Baranovichi on Wednesday caused significant street flooding, leading to an unusual incident where a statue of a railway worker was dislodged and carried away by the rushing waters. The statue, part of an exhibition dedicated to the city's labor glory, was observed floating down a water-logged street as vehicles navigated the deep floodwaters. Eyewitnesses reported the streets quickly became inundated following intense rainfall. The video footage shows the railway worker statue, initially standing firm, gradually becoming submerged before disappearing from view amidst the torrent.
