Injured Roe Deer Rescued After Hit-and-Run in Maladzyechna

A roe deer was found injured in the city of Maladzyechna, Belarus, after being hit by a car and left by the driver. Local wildlife rescuers from the Sivka-Burka farm found the injured animal and brought it to their facility. According to Anastasia Chernyavskaya, one of the rescuers, "The deer's body and legs are fine, but it has a severe head injury and its eyes are badly swollen." Despite its injuries, the deer is showing signs of improvement, drinking water and responding to treatment. "We're giving it medication and hoping for a full recovery," adds Chernyavskaya. This incident highlights the importance of responsible driving and the dedication of wildlife rescuers in Belarus.
