Concord Liquor Store Hit by Sixth Break-In, Owner Speaks Out A Concord, California liquor store owner is facing mounting frustration after his business, Fast and Easy Liquor, was targeted by burglars for the sixth time in just 18 months. The most recent incident, which occurred on Wednesday, May 28th, at 3:30 a.m., involved a vehicle crashing through the store's front door. This brazen act allowed several individuals to enter and steal a significant amount of merchandise, including expensive liquor, cigarettes, and other items. The damage to the store is estimated to be at least $20,000. "They got away with expensive bottles of liquor, all of my packs of cigarettes, computers, phones, documents—everything," said Sunny Zahid, the distraught owner of Fast and Easy Liquor, who has owned the store for 12 years. "It's an amount of money that I'm nervous to pay out of pocket because I think this may and will happen again." Zahid stated that he was alerted to the break-in via a notification from his security system. Surveillance footage shows at least nine individuals involved, both inside and outside the building, after the car created an opening. Concord police are investigating the incident, but Zahid is left to grapple with the financial burden and the ongoing security concerns for his business. The community has expressed support for Zahid, and local residents are hoping for a swift resolution to the repeated burglaries.
