Miami Beach Man Arrested for Human Trafficking of 15-Year-Old Neighbor A 29-year-old Miami Beach man, Christian Gonzalez-Lopez, is facing serious charges after being arrested for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with his 15-year-old neighbor. The disturbing case came to light when the teen's mother discovered incriminating messages on her daughter's laptop, leading to a police investigation. According to the police report, Gonzalez paid the girl $100 on multiple occasions in exchange for sex, sometimes offering drugs instead of money. "The juvenile stated the defendant would sneak her into his apartment through the back door...On more than several occasions, the defendant would text the juvenile for her to come over and he would pay $100 in exchange for sex." The report also notes that the two initially connected through Instagram. Gonzalez, who lives near 71st Street on the north end of Miami Beach, is also a fugitive from New York.
