Weekend Rain Expected Across the Philippines as Rainy Season Looms

'In Metro Manila, the chance of rain will increase throughout the day, reaching 40% by late afternoon,' Pura stated. Cebu is expected to see even higher chances of rain, peaking at 70% around 2 PM. The report also highlighted the potential for thunderstorms in the coming days, advising residents to prepare accordingly. Pura emphasized the importance of monitoring weather updates, especially with the rainy season's approach.
