"We traced their steps, and we landed at a lodge in Johannesburg where two suspects had booked a room." The police were able to recover the vehicle, a VW Polo, that was used in the crime. The vehicle was found in Phoenix at a panel-beater's workshop, where traces of blood were discovered. The owner of the vehicle, the father of one of the suspects, is currently in police custody and cooperating with the investigation.
