The traveler, visibly impressed, documented his exploration of a train bathroom, highlighting features that he described as far surpassing typical expectations for public transport. The video showcases a spacious and clean environment equipped with a modern bidet toilet, a feature often found in Japanese homes but less common in public transport globally. NicksOnTour pointed out the presence of two sinks: one for handwashing and a separate, innovative sink designed for the disposal and flushing of paper towels, a system aimed at maintaining hygiene and preventing blockages. "They have a bidet on the train!" he exclaimed, expressing his surprise. Further amenities observed included a fold-down baby changing station and a secure baby holding seat, catering to families traveling with infants. The traveler also noted multiple hooks for personal belongings, sturdy handrails, and an air-conditioned interior, contributing to a comfortable user experience. A foot-operated garbage can was also highlighted for its hands-free operation. Comparing these facilities to those in his home region, NicksOnTour remarked, "The LIRR in Long Island where I'm from, there's a toilet, there's a sink that's not working, and there's no toilet paper. It's also, you know, covered in excrements." He concluded with a strong sentiment for the superior Japanese infrastructure: "Where is this technology in the United States? We need it."
