Kerry López Alvarado, 28, was apprehended during an ICE operation on June 10, 2025. Ms. Alvarado stated, “They started grabbing me from both sides, and I bent over to protect my stomach because I was afraid they would hurt me.” According to Ms. Alvarado, she informed the agents that she was just weeks away from giving birth to her baby. Despite this, she was taken into custody, allegedly for interfering with the operation. Her boyfriend and brother were also detained. Ms. Alvarado’s mother, Sra.
