Wedding Decor Disaster: Bride's Hysteria Goes Viral, Vendor Offers Compensation Amid Ongoing Dispute
A recent wedding in Indonesia has garnered significant public attention after the bride experienced extreme distress over her wedding decorations. The incident, which saw the bride reportedly become hysterical and faint, stemmed from her dissatisfaction with the decor provided by a vendor, despite paying approximately 30 million Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) for an all-inclusive package. Following the viral spread of the bride's complaint, the wedding decor vendor, Nafa Wedding, issued a public clarification. The owner expressed apologies to the bride, Wiwin Wulandari, and her family for the unsatisfactory decoration. "We sincerely apologize for the decoration that was not as expected and unsatisfactory," the vendor stated, further announcing a compensation of 15 million IDR, which is expected to be transferred today, June 15, 2025. However, the bride remains unconvinced and deeply hurt by the experience. She shared images and videos of the actual decor, highlighting dirty chairs, incomplete floral arrangements, and an overall messy setup. She contrasted this with examples of 20 million IDR packages from the same vendor that appeared significantly better. The bride expressed frustration that the decor was still being set up at 10 AM on the wedding day, causing delays. She criticized the vendor's public clarification, stating, "It's as if they feel they have already taken responsibility and are in the right, but the family doesn't want it." She emphasized her decision to publicize the issue to prevent others from experiencing similar disappointments, advising caution when dealing with wedding vendors and suggesting against full upfront payments.
