Among the details shared was the arrest of Isaac Agbeve Zodu on May 14, 2025, following a covert operation. Zodu's confession led to the recovery of key evidence, including a motorbike and the pistol used in the robberies. "Following a vigorous interrogation," the commander stated, "Isaac confessed and led us to the retrieval of key exhibits, including the motorbike and pistol used in the robbery." Another suspect, Garba Manta, was apprehended at a mining site between Oseno and Saman. His arrest led to the discovery of additional evidence. The court convicted Isaac Zodu on his own plea, sentencing him to 10 years imprisonment. Garba Manta received a 15-year sentence. Three other accomplices were also arrested and received 15-year sentences. The police continue to investigate further related incidents and are pursuing another suspect who allegedly purchased stolen property from the gang.
