Washington D.C. – The U.S. Senate has reportedly passed the "One Big Beautiful Bill" with a 51-50 vote, significantly increasing the budget and operational capacity of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This new legislation allocates $170 billion from Medicaid budget cuts to ICE, extending its funding through 2029. A substantial portion of these funds, $45 billion, is earmarked for the construction of new detention centers across the country, designed to accommodate an additional 50,000 to 100,000 detainees annually. Furthermore, $29 billion is allocated for transportation and deportation efforts to other countries. According to the video, this bill will make ICE the largest federal law enforcement agency, surpassing the combined size of the FBI and DEA. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is quoted as stating, "they don't know what they just did" regarding the bill's implications. The video warns of potential increased panic and chaos within the undocumented community, urging them to be prepared and united, emphasizing their rights.
