In a recent video, Engelhorn stated, "I am a multimillionaire – and I want you to tax me now!" She explained that if the initiative gathers one million signatures across the EU by October 9th, the EU Commission will be compelled to address wealth taxation. Engelhorn highlighted the potential benefits of such a tax, including combating social inequality, financing crucial infrastructure like public education and healthcare, and bolstering efforts against the climate crisis. She emphasized that the proposed wealth tax would exclusively target the super-rich. Engelhorn encouraged EU citizens to sign the initiative, asserting it provides an effective way for their voices to be heard on this significant issue.
