Fire Destroys Vileika Auto Repair Shop

Firefighters in Vileika, Belarus, battled a blaze at an auto repair shop on June 6, 2025, at 9:28 PM. The fire, located on 1st May Street, quickly engulfed the 10x60 meter building, resulting in a destroyed roof and significant damage to the structure and its contents. Six fire engines were dispatched to the scene. "The roof was completely destroyed," stated a local resident who wished to remain anonymous. The fire was extinguished by 10:44 PM. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. While the incident resulted in property loss, the prompt response of the Vileika fire department prevented further damage and ensured no injuries.
