Devastating Fire in Livada Leaves Families Homeless, Community Urged to Help
LIVADA, SATU MARE COUNTY – A violent fire has devastated homes in the locality of Livada, Satu Mare County, leaving multiple families, including seven children, without shelter. The incident, which occurred recently, resulted in two houses being completely destroyed and two others suffering partial damage. Footage from the scene shows the severe impact of the blaze, with structures reduced to rubble and interiors covered in ash. The affected families have lost nearly all their belongings, with residents stating they were left with 'only the clothes on their backs.' However, the complete reconstruction of the two fully destroyed homes requires more substantial support. Zsolt Godzsa, President of the Roma Party in Satu Mare, has issued an urgent appeal to the Satu Mare community, known for its solidarity. 'Wherever I go in the country, I proudly say that there is rarely a community as solidary as the one in Satu Mare County,' Godzsa stated. 'Let's demonstrate this again, everyone doing what they can.' The community is encouraged to contribute to help these families rebuild their lives after the tragedy.
