Guadalajara Bolsters Security with High-Tech Tesla Cybertruck Patrol Cars Ahead of 2026 World Cup Guadalajara, Mexico – In a move to bolster security ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Jalisco state government has unveiled a fleet of Tesla Cybertruck patrol vehicles. These aren't your average police cruisers; they're equipped with advanced technology designed to deter crime and enhance public safety. "These Cybertrucks are more than just cars; they're mobile command centers," stated a Jalisco government official. "Their advanced technology and ballistic protection will be invaluable in maintaining order and ensuring the safety of citizens and visitors during the World Cup." The Cybertrucks are armored with ballistic-grade steel and feature AI, 360° cameras, real-time connectivity to command centers, and direct access to arrest warrant databases. This allows officers to respond more effectively to incidents and apprehend suspects quickly. The initiative also includes the installation of 1,500 new video surveillance cameras at over 300 strategic locations across the state, including major highways. An additional 678 patrol cars will also join the fleet. This comprehensive security upgrade demonstrates Jalisco's commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for the 2026 World Cup. The use of cutting-edge technology showcases a proactive approach to crime prevention and public safety. The increased security measures are expected to provide peace of mind for residents and tourists alike.
