Dominican Republic Youth Shine at San Carlos Basketball Tournament

San Carlos, Dominican Republic – Club San Carlos recently hosted a successful youth basketball tournament, sponsored by Grupo Popular. Over 200 children participated in the event, which combined sports and cultural activities. The tournament aimed to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement. "This event was a tremendous success," said Luis Acevedo, the tournament's organizer. "We saw so many talented young athletes and it was inspiring to see them come together." Manuel Guzmán, a former member of the Dominican national basketball team, also attended and spoke to the children. "It's important to teach these young people not only the skills of the game, but also the importance of community and helping others," said Guzmán.
