Storm Aftermath: Emergency Services Clear Debris in Kolodishchi
Kolodishchi, Minsk Region – Following a powerful thunderstorm that swept through the Minsk region, particularly affecting the agricultural town of Kolodishchi and its surrounding areas, emergency services are working tirelessly to eliminate the consequences. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MCHS), along with foresters and road workers, have mobilized to assist residents. Currently, all special services are collaborating with local residents to clear the aftermath of the severe weather in Kolodishchi. The most heavily impacted streets include Korotkevicha, Shpitalnaya, Verkhnyaya, Zhivopisnaya, and Snezhna. According to the Minsk Regional Department of Emergency Situations, a commission for emergency situations has been convened to coordinate and respond to the disaster relief efforts. Seven units of MCHS equipment are reportedly on site, supported by specialists from the Borovlyany Special Forestry and representatives from Electroseti and Minraygorremavtodor, all working to restore order and safety to the affected areas.
