Expert Gardening Tips: Boost Your Tomato Harvest with Natural Fertilizers and Blight Prevention

An agronomist from "Procvetok" recently shared valuable insights into enhancing tomato growth and protecting plants from common diseases. The expert detailed a simple yet effective homemade fertilizer recipe designed to promote faster ripening, sweeter taste, and improved aroma in tomatoes. According to the agronomist, a potent potassium-rich solution can be prepared by combining one glass of ash with one liter of water and half a glass of table vinegar. After the mixture settles, it should be strained, and an additional nine liters of water should be added. To further boost the plants, 100 grams of fresh yeast can be incorporated into the solution, providing essential amino acids and stimulating beneficial soil microflora. Gardeners are advised to apply approximately half a liter of this enriched solution to the base of each tomato plant. In addition to fertilization, the expert stressed the importance of protecting tomatoes from blight. Regular spraying with Bacillus subtilis, specifically the "Profit" product, every 10 days is recommended. This treatment reportedly prevents disease, allowing for immediate harvesting after application. The mentioned products are available at "Procvetok" stores.
