Attack on Clara Brugada's Collaborators Raises Political Concerns in Mexico City Mexico City – May 23, 2025 – Two close collaborators of Clara Brugada, head of the Mexico City government, were attacked on May 20th in the Colonia Moderna neighborhood of Benito Juárez. Ximena Guzmán and José Muñoz were assaulted while heading to work. The Mexico City Attorney General's Office is investigating, and initial reports suggest the possibility of a politically motivated attack.
