13-Year-Old Fights for Life After Four-Meter Fall in La Paz

La Paz, Bolivia - May 23, 2025. A 13-year-old boy is fighting for his life after a serious fall. The incident occurred in the Pura Pura neighborhood of La Paz when the boy, returning from school, realized he'd forgotten his keys. In a desperate attempt to enter his home, he attempted to climb the exterior wall, falling four meters onto the ground. "He was completely unconscious and had multiple injuries," stated a paramedic from the Red 167 ambulance unit. The boy was immediately taken to the Hospital del Niño where he received emergency treatment, including oxygen therapy. The video shows the boy being loaded into an ambulance, still wearing his school uniform. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety and highlights the dedication of emergency medical services in La Paz.
