Santa Cruz to Experience City-Wide Water Cut

Santa Cruz residents are urged to prepare for a scheduled water cut affecting a large portion of the city on June 4, 2025. The interruption, lasting from 7 PM to 6:30 AM the following day, is part of a planned maintenance program by the city's water provider, SAGUAPAC. According to Jose Fernando Suarez, Head of SAGUAPAC's Communications Department, "This cut is part of a service sectorization program, dividing the city into six macro-sectors for efficient maintenance." The affected areas include the city center, the second ring road, the entire northern zone, and the industrial park. Residents are advised to stockpile sufficient water before the outage. The planned maintenance aims to improve the water supply system, ensuring better services for Santa Cruz residents in the future.
