Washington D.C. - Former President Donald Trump has expanded his business portfolio with the introduction of the T1 Phone, a new mobile device and operator service. The T1 Phone, priced at $499, is marketed towards individuals who share Trump's political ideology and is said to offer features such as telemedicine. Donald Trump Jr. stated, "You can get telemedicine on their phone." He also emphasized that the device is "100% made in America."
The venture marks a continued diversification of Trump's business interests, which now reportedly include cryptocurrencies, sports shoes, and even Bibles, moving beyond his traditional real estate and casino holdings.
However, the new business endeavors have drawn criticism, particularly regarding potential conflicts of interest. Senator Elizabeth Warren voiced strong concerns, stating, "He is using the presidency to make himself richer." She further elaborated, "It's an orgy of corruption," suggesting that Trump may be leveraging his political influence to benefit his businesses through favorable legislation or deregulation. While Trump has legally delegated his businesses to his children, critics argue that the potential for conflicts of interest remains evident.
